Taking the top spot is &lsquo;Mr Disco Beef,&rsquo; a one-of-a-kind name that will make anyone smile when you call your pet in the park. It&rsquo;s fun, joyous and completely unique, just like your poochy pal.

This year&#39;s winning name also features a title, which seems to be a recurring theme from <a href="/all-things-pet/the-strangest-and-most-popular-pet-names-2024" title="Link to Everypaw's article about the strangest pet names in 2024">the 2024 strange pet name list</a>, with &lsquo;Mr&rsquo;, &lsquo;Sir&rsquo;, &lsquo;Lady&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Colonel&rsquo; also being featured on the top 15 list, and &lsquo;Lord&rsquo;, &lsquo;Mrs&rsquo; and &lsquo;Dame&rsquo; all being among registered names.

In second place is the hil-hair-ious name, &lsquo;Moustache&rsquo;. The moustache has had a resurgence in popularity over the last two years, with celebrities such as Benson Boone, Pedro Pascal and Timoth&eacute;e Chalamet now sporting a fuzzy upper lip, It wasn&rsquo;t the only hair-related name registered this year either, with &lsquo;Mohawk&rsquo; also making an appearance.

Coming in third is one of the five food-related names making the list. &lsquo;Scampi Goujon&rsquo; is clearly a tribute to someone&rsquo;s favourite food. It might be one of the more unique culinary names we&rsquo;ve had, but &lsquo;Matcha&rsquo;, &lsquo;Porkchop&rsquo;, &lsquo;Ramen&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Schnitzel&rsquo; have also been adorned by our furry friends this year.
